I love this newsletter; it always makes me smile and/or lol, as well as want to drop money I don't have on gorgeous and unique jewelry.

I hope you're able to continue writing it because your work is greatly appreciated. :)

I may be a little biased but I love the work of my Great Aunt Dorrie Nossiter https://www.dorrienossiter.co.uk/ and via pinterest https://www.pinterest.co.uk/search/pins/?q=Dorrie%20Nossiter&rs=typed Best wishes David

Your great aunt!! I've seen her work many times on the Tadema Gallery website - she was such an important contributor to the Arts & Crafts movement. How wonderful to have that history in your family!

Great issue! I believe I had a version of that Octopus as an actual toothbrush in 1972.

Ok, believe it or not: I know a couple who used to work in advertising who gave it all up to be truck drivers! They take fab trips, only work when they want and seem to have a super fab life 🚚!

Such is life. I am still researching her life and work but finding out about Artists and designers is so much harder than medicine where we have the all encompassing Index Medicus to use. Thanks for the interest and lovely pieces of jewellery David

Absolutely I stayed with her but unfortunately it wasn't till she had died that I learnt about her work I wished I could have known to ask more about her work and life then.

Oh, I'm sorry. But at least you did get to know her, and you can appreciate her work now. She was so enormously talented. I'll keep an eye out for her pieces in the future and if I come across any I'll be sure to feature them here!
